Selecting the perfect teacup is the first step in the art of teatime. Tea should not be chugged out of an over sized mug or a paper cup, but sipped delicately from your favorite teacup. Good quality bone china or porcelain is essential for the tea-drinking experience.

Once you have selected your ideal teacup, choose your favorite tea and steep for 3-5 minutes. A teaspoon of sugar is optional, however, I always recommend a splash of milk with black tea. It's warm, soothing and goes perfectly with a naughty treat(a scone, or a piece of chocolate works well). If you are having a particularly rough day, you might want to indulge in a cream puff. There's nothing like a cream puff to wipe away the day's troubles.

Finally, select a good piece of music, sit down, curl up with your favorite book, and enjoy the best time of day, Teatime.
